My Life Song – A Psalm of Kim

God Lead Me

Last Sunday, At church we were challenged to write a Psalm – A Life Song that spoke from our heart to our God. Here is mine:

My Life Song – A Psalm of Kim

I stare over the open seas

Like waves,

I’m tossed one way and twirled the next.

The Street

The Street
Photo taken with iPhone on my doorstep at about 6.15 p.m.

We Come

We Go

From dawn

‘Til dusk

Roads Diverge

Roads Converge

Many find their way

While others are at a loss

Some with warnings

Others with none

Over bridges

Into tunnels

Round & round

To a destination

With paths lit

Or in utter darkness

He sees red

She sees green

They start to speed

While the elder yields

Coffee in hand

Cellphone in another

All so busy

Why even bother

All going somewhere

Even when there is no where to go

Finding their way

Losing their way

Up & Down the Street

A little bit of self-talk said, ‘You will make it there eventually. Just keep going!’” Before I knew it, I became winded and my heart started racing begging for there to be an immediate end in sight. I wanted it to be OVER! Read more
